We do
have some expectations, but they're common sense things:
- When the conductor is talking, don't. You need to hear what she says and - as important - so does everyone else. This also applies to making noises with your instrument, trying out the next bar or two, etc., and it also applies during performances, or when small sections of the orchestra are playing within the larger group.
- Be on time for practices, rehearsals, performances, etc. We are currently meeting every second Saturday at the Jack Blanchard Centre at 7 Pond Street in Charlottetown and begin playing at 10:00 a.m. Due to the need to answer Covid questions, please arrive between 9:15 and 9:45 a.m.
- If you are missing music, ask and we should be able to find it.
- Practice at home a minimum of 10 minutes per day.
